Dispenser & prescription check
For risk management, the password of the person in charge must be entered at the start of dispensing.
The password confirms who the pharmacist is, and the system proceeds to the medicine weighing screen.
On the medicine weighing screen, the prescription is checked by inputting the regular dosage (times per day, dosage, body weight), long-term administration, medicine incompatibilities, etc., in the medicine master.
It is also possible to check for duplicate medicines in the environment settings.
Filling check
When refilling the medicine bottle with the delivered medicine, the barcode of the powder medicine bottle registered in the medicine master is checked against the JAN code of the medicine to be refilled to check if the medicine is correct.
If the medicine is not correct, a warning screen is displayed to prevent filling errors.
The filling history can be printed by medicine or by filling date.
Seamless operation
The LT-S can be seamlessly linked from the receipt of the prescription data to the issuance of instructions to the dispensing machine.
First, prescription data of the medicine that needs to be weighed is received from the dispensing analysis system, and inspection is performed according to the prescription content.
The results of the inspection are printed on a receipt with a barcode, and the barcode is read by the dispensing machine, ensuring smooth and accurate dispensing with minimal human error.
